SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping & Delivery

When specific instructions are not given, we will use the fastest, most economical routing considering the nature and value of the shipment as well as I.C.C., OSHA, D.O.T., and Post Office Department regulations. Most orders can be shipped UPS or RPS/FedEx unless the order exceeds the size or weight limits of RPS/FedEx, in which case the order will be shipped by truck.

For customers with open accounts, shipping and handling charges will be prepaid and added to the invoice. All other customers must pay in advance by check or money order and allow 12.5%, but not less than $9.40, for shipping and handling, plus, if applicable, hazardous surcharges as explained below. Also, there is a minimum shipping charge of $6.00 for live and preserved specimen orders under $50.00.

A minimum order of $75.00 is required.

Hazardous Handling Surcharge

Because of U.S. Department of Transportation and freight carrier regulations, there will be a special handling surcharge for products classified as "hazardous". UPS and RPS/FedEx charge an additional $20.00 per carton for "hazardous" items. These chemicals are identified with an

. Whenever possible, like items will be shipped in a single carton. In addition to the above charges, some chemicals, indicated by a

, require special packaging and/or must be shipped by motor frieght. Please contact customer service for shipping and handling charges on these items.

No shipment containing hazardous materials will be made to individuals.

Delivery Times

Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. If an item is back ordered, delivery may be 4-5 weeks. If you need your order in a rush, or you wish to receive your order before or after a certain date, please contact us.
